Hi, I'm Christian Betit, the owner of Green Mountain Angler. I was born here in Bennington, Vermont and have been fishing these rivers and streams my whole life. I love spending time on the water—but I love sharing the joy of fishing with others even more. Ever since I can remember, I've wanted to help people learn to fish and discover some of the natural resources our great state has to offer.

That's why, when you're on the water with Green Mountain Angler, you not only have an opportunity to catch some amazing fish, you can also get an intimate, first-hand experience with all the nature that surrounds you. From beaver tail slaps, to deer trotting through the brush, to flocks of cedar waxwings feeding on the hatch, to minks running along the river bank, you never know what you might see. You just gotta get out there to see it! 

I strive to make your outdoor experience in the great state of Vermont a memorable one and hopefully, I can guide the rest of your stay to be the same.
